A growing company with several locations is currently seeking a qualified aircraft parts materials Clerk in the Carlsbad California area. The aircraft parts material Clerk will perform a variety of duties to include (but not limited to) shipping and receiving, inventory, issuing parts to technicians, verifying and updating required documentation, talking to vendors regarding parts orders, placing and negotiating parts orders, tracking data, etc. This person must have prior experience working in a material handler, stock room or similar warehousing environment handling aircraft parts. Prior experience performing inventory and shipping receiving duties is required. The qualified candidate must also be proficient with basic computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel to also include prior recent experience working with vendors and negotiating pricing on aircraft parts for fixed wing aircraft, preferably in a 135 or 145 operation.
